I saw a flight of birds and this painting is definitely inspired by the formation of birds we all know. The image of birds is nondescript. They look robotic. The wings take on their own flutter and shapes. Some of the wings melt and drift, but the birds only gain strength. There is one bird of a different color…perhaps me, along for the ride. There is turbulence in the air to conquer. It is beautiful and strong. This painting almost shakes the canvas as it celebrates inner and outer strength able to take on anything and anyone.
